Street Fruit Juice deals with the import and export of fruit and vegetables. Last year the company decided to diversify its business by offering derivative products, such as smoothies and juices, on an Ape Piaggio.

We asked the manager Salvatore Nigita to tell us the reason for this choice and how, specifically, the vehicle is used.

Street Fruit Juice is based in Malta and operates in European and non-European countries: for more than forty years it has been buying fresh products from the Mediterranean area, which it subsequently distributes in supermarkets across the continent.

How did the idea of ​​the Bee come about?

After the long experience in the import-export sector, the need to diversify the business by focusing on the transformation of fruit and vegetables arose. We then carried out a market survey, which revealed the growing interest in products such as smoothies and centrifuges. And so the idea of ​​the Ape was born!

How is the vehicle used?

The vehicle is positioned in the most strategic points of the island of Malta, to make the most of its visibility. The fruit is well displayed, so that the customer can see both its freshness and quality. The consumer decides the combination of the fruits to be blended and is always supported by a prepared and smiling staff member, ready to recommend the tastiest fruit mix!

What's in the future of Street Fruit Juice?

In this period we are setting up a Cart that will be added to the Ape Piaggio for the 2021 summer season. The goal in the near future is to grow with the franchise formula, for this reason the brand has already been registered in Europe. Our wish is to see the Street Fruit Juice vehicles on the streets all over Europe.
