SUCCESS STORIES: BILLI’S AND ITS FOOD TRUCK FLEET

What happens when a restaurant expands by adopting not just one vehicle, but an entire fleet of food trucks? One of the most remarkable success stories is Billi’s, born in 2016 in Arezzo from the idea of Salvatore and his team. Since then, the restaurant has distinguished itself for its States-inspired cuisine, with its dramatic sandwiches made with the finest local ingredients. The first food truck purchased by Billi’s proved to be a powerful ally from the start. And so it was with the second, then the third, and finally the fourth!

Investing in a fleet of food trucks has proven to be a winning move, as evidenced by the numbers that characterized their 2023. With 150 cities visited and a remarkable 200,000 kilometers traveled Billi’s food trucks have been utilized to operate in multiple areas simultaneously, reaching new markets and exploring regions where sandwiches are most popular. Thanks to this strategy, the trucks can be assigned daily to the most promising areas, allowing for profit maximization. The territorial coverage of the Billi’s brand has expanded from Tuscany to Trentino, through regions such as Umbria, Lazio, Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto, and Liguria!

In just the past year alone, Billi’s food trucks have participated in a remarkable 150 events, including standout occasions such as the Lucca Summer Festival, the National Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Bologna Sonic Park, the Lucca Comics, and a series of other private events, festivals, fairs, and local gatherings. Their presence at these events has ensured an additional stream of revenue compared to the Arezzo restaurant, further solidifying the Billi’s brand as synonymous with quality. Its fleet, consisting of three Food Trucks and two Porter vehicles, has been specifically designed to efficiently fulfill diverse functions, allowing the team to seize every opportunity!

Of course, with all these crowded events, there have been many people to serve. Throughout the year, a total of 250,000 sandwiches were sold, bringing the total number of customers served to surpass 300,000. These are significant numbers that wouldn’t have been possible without a fleet of food trucks. When it comes to catering, the addition of scalable, flexible, and original solutions can take you far, quite literally!
