In these days, you may notice some monuments and iconic places in your city temporarily “turning off”. But don’t worry, it’s part of initiatives linked to the International Energy Saving Day, celebrated every February 18th to raise awareness among families and businesses about the importance of reducing energy consumption for a more sustainable future.
A green pathway to counter waste involves the more efficient use of energy and renewable sources. A path that, as a company, we have been treading for over 15 years! Our initial step towards reducing our carbon footprint was the implementation of a photovoltaic system covering our facilities, spanning a total of 12,000 square meters. This isn’t just a stylish way of saying we’ve placed quite a few solar panels on the roof; this move ensured that more than 50% of the energy we use is self-produced! Moreover, our panels generate approximately 200,500 kWh of energy annually, preventing the emission of a substantial 99,270 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere. A significant reduction in energy expenses and, most importantly, a tangible stride in the battle against global warming.
Every day, we put the same commitment into the production of our vehicles, introducing solutions with rooftop solar panels on the trucks to enhance their operational autonomy. An investment that not only benefits your finances but also contributes to keeping our planet healthier.
