Viola Park – a sports center owned by Fiorentina which houses the Club’s offices, the training fields of the men’s and women’s first teams and those of the youth teams – has opened the new football season with a great novelty. Indeed, two!
The team and managers were welcomed on the first day of work by two Ape Cars customized with the colors and symbols of the Florence-based company.

The project, strongly supported by the General Director of Fiorentina Joe Barone, took shape as the Viola Park ribbon cutting approached. The two vehicles, in addition to enhancing and advertising the brand, also had to represent the Italian spirit and the Tuscan territory, its values and the standards of style and quality typical of Made in Italy. Thus, after the project was commissioned in March, StreetFoody managed to hand over the keys to the two Ape Car during the start of preparation for the Championship in July, taking care of every single detail and giving shape to every single need.

It was precisely on the occasion of the retreat at Viola Park that the two Ape Cars made their entrance in front of the most important media, receiving great interest and appreciation from everyone present and beyond. Obviously, Joe Barone was behind the wheel, enthusiastic about the new promotional tool for his brand. A few days later, he took his purple Ape Car to see the Duomo of Florence and Piazza della Signoria: the vehicles are equipped with an electric motor, a fundamental feature for being able to circulate in urban centers and in areas with a high tourist influx.

The Fiorentina Ape Car is the perfect example of an itinerant promotional tour designed to promote the brand in a completely new and unconventional way. Street food vehicles ensure a direct communication channel towards customers, who can interact with the brand and strengthen their attachment to the values it supports. A Purple Ape in the center of Florence above all means meeting, direct contact, new ties, but also the development of authentic and memorable experiences from which the brand can derive numerous benefits.
