Food Truck beyond borders: three success stories abroad

streetfoodystories

We all know how street food is an international phenomenon, and today we want to confirm this through our clients' success stories abroad. Three dynamic, courageous realities with a clear goal: to bring their specialties and passion to success.

Zen to Go, P79, and Italian Specialties by Gerardo demonstrate that a successful business, like street food, can achieve great results and overgrow. So much so that a single vehicle is no longer enough: a fleet is needed!

Zen to Go, Malta
Let’s start with Zen to Go, the Japanese restaurant that has conquered Malta. With six outlets scattered across the island, Zen to Go expanded its horizons by bringing its delights directly on wheels with one of our Porters. This first food truck allowed them to reach a new target audience and increased the visibility and popularity of their restaurants. As they told us in January 2022: “The goal is to expand our restaurant chain and to enlarge our fleet”. And so it was! Now, Zen to Go can also rely on a Trailer to simultaneously reach all the Japanese lovers on the island in different locations.

P79, Germany
Let us now move on to Germany, to the beautiful region of Stuttgart, where Giuseppe and Giuseppina have started the P79 concept – P for Pinsa and Pasta, but also Peppino and Peppina, and 79 like their year of birth. Their mission? To bring Italian culinary delights and the charm of the Bel Paese abroad on wheels. After buying a Porter NP6 and appreciating its potential, they returned to StreetFoody for a second food truck. Now, P79 is ready to win even more hearts and palates with their Roman Pinsa. Full steam ahead, guys!

Specialità italiana da Gerardo, Svizzera
We close with Italian Specialty at Gerardo’s, which in Switzerland brings the undisputed queen of Italy to the stage: pizza! It all started with an Ape Pizza, recognizable by an inscription on the door that encapsulates the entire philosophy of the business: “Life is too short to eat and drink badly.” But Gerardo did not stop there. To boost his business and make his pizza known on more occasions, he decided to add a Porter NP6 to his fleet. Now, with two vehicles at his disposal, Gerardo and his team are ready to churn our pizzas galore, guaranteeing everyone an unforgettable experience!

Moral of the story: with the right tools and strategies, it’s easy to build a solid and ever-expanding business, even abroad! We are proud to contribute to these success stories daily, offering support and solutions to help all our clients grow and reach new heights worldwide.
